Registered Respiratory Therapist in Dahlonega, GA

An exciting opportunity is available for skilled Registered Respiratory Therapists to provide specialized care to both adult and neonatal patients. Multiple positions are open, with assignments available for both NICU and adult respiratory therapy. This contract role offers a dynamic environment suited for professionals passionate about critical care and neonatal respiratory care.

Schedule/Hours

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Night shifts: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Every other weekend required
• Start date: ASAP
• NICU RTs: Required call—2 shifts per 6-week period

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS and NRP certifications required for NICU assignments
• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated recent critical care expertise
• Labor and delivery experience required (NICU RT only)
• Flexibility to work with both adult and neonatal populations (for NICU RTs)
• Open to both local and travel candidates (within 100-mile radius)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy to adult and/or neonatal patients
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care strategies
• Monitor patients’ responses to interventions in acute and critical care settings
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Participate in required weekend and on-call shifts per assignment protocols
