Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide essential respiratory care under physician supervision. Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Therapy
  • Active Respiratory Care Professional licensure in the State of Georgia
  • Three years of experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in programs like Word and Excel
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication abilities across multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Administer all aspects of respiratory and critical care in accordance with physician orders
  • Provide assessment and therapeutic intervention for patients with respiratory insufficiencies
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and delivery of care
  • Document therapy procedures, patient responses, and progress accurately in electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
  • Follow all regulatory and facility protocols to maintain patient safety
