Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shifts available, including both 5- and 8-hour options
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current state licensure required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Previous clinical experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-driven environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer various respiratory therapy modalities, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication, and ventilator management
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress, adjusting treatments as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory treatments and home care techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies and safety regulations
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory support
