Registered Respiratory Therapist in Denver, CO

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state licensure required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous clinical experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-driven environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer various respiratory therapy modalities, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress, adjusting treatments as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory treatments and home care techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies and safety regulations
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory support
