Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Demonstrated experience in delivering respiratory support, including life-support measures and resuscitation
• Familiarity with invasive and non-invasive diagnostic respiratory procedures
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients
• Adept at supervising, directing, and mentoring other respiratory care team members, including students and externs
• Strong documentation skills and attention to patient care records

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor life-support, resuscitation, and medical gas therapies
• Perform critical diagnostic procedures on patients in both general and intensive care settings
• Float between assigned business units as operationally needed, ensuring expertise across diverse clinical areas
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all patient care activities
• Accurately record necessary patient billing information
• Foster collaboration and efficiently communicate with physicians, nurses, coworkers, and other clinical staff
• Supervise, orient, and delegate responsibilities to junior personnel and students within the department
