Registered Respiratory Therapist in Ellicott City, MD

Schedule/Hours:

• Days and nights available
• 13-week assignment
• Flexibility to float between two partner hospitals

Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Recent clinical experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience working in a hospital or acute-care environment, with the ability to adapt to different units

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients with acute or chronic conditions
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment
• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document care provided in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines
• Respond efficiently to emergency situations and provide rapid respiratory interventions as needed
• Float between designated hospital locations to meet dynamic patient care demands
