Schedule/Hours:
- Days and nights available
- 13-week assignment
- Flexibility to float between two partner hospitals
Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Recent clinical experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience working in a hospital or acute-care environment, with the ability to adapt to different units
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients with acute or chronic conditions
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment
- Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document care provided in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations and provide rapid respiratory interventions as needed
- Float between designated hospital locations to meet dynamic patient care demands
