Qualifications:

• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Prior experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway management
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment
• Monitor patients’ responses to therapy and document progress
• Assist with emergency interventions and rapid response situations as needed
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and respiratory techniques
• Adhere to infection control standards and organizational policies
