Registered Respiratory Therapist in Euclid, OH

Deliver essential respiratory care and support to patients in a dynamic hospital environment for a 13-week assignment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a dedication to clinical excellence.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:00 pm – 6:30 am)
• On call for 4 nights over a six-week period to provide coverage as needed

Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current, active Ohio license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as prescribed by attending physicians, including ventilator management and airway care
• Monitor patient response and make real-time adjustments in treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document all procedures, treatments, and assessments in compliance with facility protocols
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Respond to emergency situations and rapid response calls quickly and effectively
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding respiratory care plans and equipment use
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or concerns to the appropriate department
