Schedule/Hours:

  • 3 x 12-hour night shifts (6:00 pm – 6:30 am)
  • Includes on-call responsibility for 4 nights within a six-week schedule

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active and unrestricted Ohio state license
  • Previous clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting is highly valued
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability and effective communication in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders
  • Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen, ventilator management, and aerosol medications as prescribed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as code blues, and provide expert airway management support
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and proper equipment usage
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
  • Provide on-call coverage as scheduled to ensure comprehensive respiratory care coverage

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
