Registered Respiratory Therapist in Euclid, OH

Deliver exceptional patient care and support as a Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this contract role, you’ll work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other clinicians to ensure high-quality respiratory care for patients of all ages. Utilize your expertise in assessing, treating, and managing respiratory disorders for acute and chronic cases in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications:

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current Respiratory Therapist licensure
• Proven hands-on experience in a clinical respiratory care setting
• Proficiency in administering treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and pulmonary function testing
• Familiarity with ventilators, airway management, and emergency respiratory procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop tailored care plans in consultation with physicians
• Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient response
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safe and proper usage
• Educate patients and family members on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with facility protocols
• Respond quickly to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning as needed
