Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 7:00pm – 7:30am
  • 32 hours per week
  • Includes weekend and holiday shifts as required

Qualifications:

  • Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous clinical experience with a range of respiratory procedures and equipment
  • Solid understanding of best practices for patient safety and infection control
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a compassionate approach to patient care

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders or cardiopulmonary issues
  • Administer medically prescribed respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
  • Closely monitor patient responses and adapt therapeutic techniques accordingly
  • Document all treatments, observations, and patient progress thoroughly and accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, therapies, and equipment use
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards
