Respiratory Therapist | Euclid, Ohio

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist with Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials for a contract opportunity. This role offers a dynamic environment, working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care. The ideal candidate possesses solid clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting patients with respiratory needs in a hospital setting.

Schedule:

• Evening shifts, 32 hours per week
• 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• Every other weekend included
• Rotating holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Active, unencumbered state license to practice
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care modalities, equipment, and therapies
• Effective communication and patient assessment skills
• Prior hospital experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer a range of respiratory therapies, including oxygen, aerosol, and mechanical ventilation
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patients’ responses to treatments
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and equipment use
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation
• Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment as needed
