Schedule:
- 3x12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week guaranteed)
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Credentialed as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Proof of a negative TB test within the past 12 months
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and administer appropriate therapies
- Apply advanced techniques for ventilator management and airway care
- Monitor patient responses, document clinical interventions, and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide support and education to patients and their families on respiratory conditions and equipment
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
