Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Prior clinical experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting
- Familiarity with a variety of respiratory equipment, such as ventilators and monitoring devices
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
- Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments and diagnostic evaluations according to physician orders
- Monitor patient responses and make adjustments to therapy as needed
- Assist with airway management procedures, including intubation and extubation
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care and equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately chart interventions and patient progress in electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain equipment in excellent working condition

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
