The coast is calling with an exciting opportunity for a talented Respiratory Therapist! This full-time, contract assignment offers immediate placement near the beautiful shores of Virginia Beach, providing both professional growth and the chance to experience life in a vibrant coastal community.

Schedule:

  • Weekdays, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • 13-week contract

Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Minimum of two years of generalist respiratory therapy experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS/NRP certifications preferred
  • Previous experience with GE equipment preferred
  • Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care services to patients of varying acuity
  • Assess, monitor, and document respiratory patient outcomes
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory therapy equipment
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high patient safety and quality of care
  • Provide patient and family education as necessary
  • Respond promptly to emergent respiratory care situations
