Qualifications:

  • Active Respiratory Therapist license (state-appropriate)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • 1+ years of recent acute care or hospital experience preferred
  • BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages in acute and critical care settings
  • Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, and ventilation support as prescribed
  • Perform diagnostic testing, including ABGs and pulmonary function tests
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment
