Experience an engaging and fast-paced environment as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services in a diverse clinical setting. This role entails a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), working 36 hours per week. The schedule includes every other weekend rotation and a 75% holiday work commitment. Flexibility is essential, as floating between multiple facilities within the region is required to best meet patient and department needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials
  • Active NC Respiratory Therapy license
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS and NRP are required for the resource team
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
  • Critical care, CVICU, NICU, Emergency Department, progressive care, and floor therapy competencies
  • Experience with EMR (EPIC) and operation of ventilators (Servo, Trilogy), HiFlow, Airvo, ResMed AirCurve, and additional specialized equipment
  • Willingness to float among listed regional sites and adapt to mid-shift facility transfers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective respiratory care for adult and NICU patients with a variety of diagnoses
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EPIC EMR
  • Demonstrate adaptability by assuming varied assignments and floating in response to department needs
  • Uphold department culture focused on teamwork and consistent core values
