Step into a pivotal healthcare role dedicated to patient-centered respiratory care. Seeking skilled professionals with expertise as a Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapist, or Registered Respiratory Therapist. This contract opportunity supports both day and night shifts over a 13-week period, with five available positions. Candidates will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, serving patients across two facilities through clinical floating between Good Samaritan and Union Memorial.

Qualifications:
- Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Valid, current respiratory therapy license
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with care teams
- Previous acute care or hospital-based respiratory care experience preferred
- Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care interventions as directed by provider orders and protocols
- Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status, reporting changes and intervening as needed
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely and efficiently
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, procedures, and best practices
- Accurately document all aspects of care and patient response within hospital systems
- Support safe transitions of care between departments through effective handoffs
