  • Proficiency with respiratory care modalities such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol treatments
  • Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor a variety of respiratory therapy treatments to support the respiratory health of patients
  • Assess patient needs and adjust treatment plans under medical direction
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators and monitoring devices
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory health management and care
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in clinical records accurately and timely
  • Uphold safety protocols, infection control standards, and best practices in patient care
