Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Proven experience in acute or critical care settings preferred
  • Ability to assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory disorders across all age groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and patient interactions
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress and response to interventions
  • Manage ventilators and artificial airway devices according to best practices and protocols
  • Educate patients and family members on respiratory therapies, equipment use, and health management
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical respiratory interventions when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility guidelines

$2,154 - $2,278/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
