Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Grandville, Michigan

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Proven experience in acute and/or critical care settings highly desirable
• Familiarity with mechanical ventilation, pulmonary diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and deliver a full range of respiratory therapy treatments according to physician orders
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, such as ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
• Conduct diagnostic tests and accurately document patient progress
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, supporting airway management
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care principles and equipment use
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a seamless continuum of care
