Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Grass Lake, MI

Make a significant impact on patient care as a skilled Respiratory Therapist on a 13-week assignment. In this dynamic contract role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering life-support, resuscitation, and monitoring services, as well as administering medical gases to patients in both Intensive Care and General Practice Units. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality respiratory care across various business units as assigned.

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (1845-0715)
• Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver invasive and non-invasive respiratory therapies to critically ill and general patients
• Perform diagnostic procedures as needed for proper treatment
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all aspects of patient care
• Supervise and provide guidance to other respiratory therapists, interns, externs, and students during shifts
• Ensure timely completion of patient billing records

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current, active licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS certification is mandatory
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
