Advance your career as a Respiratory Therapist supporting patient care across Intensive Care and General Practice Units. In this contract role, you'll use your clinical skills to deliver life-support, resuscitation, and medical gases therapy while performing both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures. Work under the guidance of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and ensure excellent care through effective communication and thorough documentation.

Schedule:

  • 1845-0715 (overnight shift)
  • 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • 13-week contract

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on respiratory therapy experience
  • Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong ability to supervise, delegate, and support other therapists, externs, and students
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory life-support and therapeutic interventions to a diverse patient population
  • Perform diagnostic and monitoring procedures as needed on Intensive Care and General Practice Units
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all aspects of patient care and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Supervise, orient, and collaborate with other respiratory staff and students
  • Complete and manage all patient billing information in a timely manner
  • Maintain clinical expertise and adapt to assignments at various business units as directed
