Registered Respiratory Therapist in Grass Lake, MI

This position provides advanced respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients in Intensive Care and General Practice Units. You’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise and leadership skills while serving as a mentor to students and less experienced practitioners.

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (1845-0715)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Active BLS certification
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience in critical care environments is highly desired

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver life-support, resuscitation, and a variety of medical gas therapies to patients
• Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures
• Maintain clinical proficiency and flexibility for assignments throughout various units
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff to meet care needs
• Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all patient care activities
• Supervise, delegate, and guide Respiratory Therapists, students, and externs in accordance with departmental standards
• Complete patient billing documentation accurately

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
