A contract opportunity is open for skilled professionals with expertise as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist. This position plays a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
  • Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
  • Strong technical and clinical skills in respiratory therapy practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Proven attention to detail and capacity to handle emergencies under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed respiratory treatments and therapeutic procedures to patients of all ages
  • Conduct patient assessments, interpret diagnostic test results, and monitor progress
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to develop and adjust care plans
  • Document all care provided and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
  • Educate patients and family members about respiratory conditions and appropriate care techniques
