Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (specific schedule/hours will be discussed during the interview process)

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (CRT applicants cannot be considered)
• Valid state licensure and current BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care
• Prior acute care or hospital-based experience preferred
• Dedicated to delivering patient-centered care and upholding the highest standards in safety and ethics

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and deliver a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary treatments
• Respond rapidly to emergency codes and participate in trauma, stroke, and neonatal care scenarios
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on individualized treatment plans
• Document care and progress in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapies and home care when appropriate
• Adhere to evidence-based protocols and contribute to positive outcomes for a diverse patient population
