An opportunity awaits for a seasoned Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate care and expert respiratory therapy in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role spans 13 weeks, offering a chance to work alongside dedicated professionals and truly make a meaningful impact.

Schedule:

  • 3 shifts per week
  • 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am)

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Current Ohio state license in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments to diverse patient populations
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient respiratory status and make recommendations for modifications in treatment
  • Operate and maintain ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other therapeutic devices
  • Respond quickly to urgent and emergency situations
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes
