Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Howell, Michigan

An opportunity is available for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to contribute expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment located in Howell, MI. This contract position seeks dedicated professionals with strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Proven experience in respiratory care practices adhering to clinical guidelines
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and coordination

Schedule/Hours:

• Three therapists needed for the 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM shift
• Two therapists needed for the 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM shift
• Overtime is available and billable after 48 hours

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders under physician guidance
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and airway management
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies to optimize respiratory function
• Maintain accurate patient records and equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
