Deliver essential respiratory care in a dynamic contract environment, working primarily night shifts supporting a variety of patient populations across multiple facilities in a collaborative and high-acuity setting. Your expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist will be critical in managing complex adult and NICU cases while utilizing advanced technology and fostering a culture of teamwork.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week (7:00pm – 7:00am)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage as assigned (approx. 75% of holidays)
  • No on-call or call-back requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with active NC licensure
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in respiratory therapy
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team)
  • Practical experience in: Critical Care, CVICU, NICU, ED, Progressive Care, and all floor therapies
  • Comfortable with electronic documentation (EPIC)
  • Willingness to float to multiple locations within Region 2 as needed
  • First-time travelers welcomed

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult and NICU patients in a variety of acute and progressive settings
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment (Servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, bubble CPAP)
  • Adapt to different patient volumes and acuity levels with professionalism and efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, prioritizing teamwork and strong communication
  • Maintain accurate records and foster patient safety
