The ideal candidate is a Registered Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting patient recovery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care to patients of varying acuity.
  • Administer therapies including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy in accordance with physician orders.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatment; modify care plans as needed.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP devices.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory illnesses and therapies.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Active state license or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist, ideally in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional and technical knowledge.
