Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indian Trail, NC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active and unrestricted respiratory therapy license in the applicable state
• Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital, acute care, or similar setting
• Proficiency in performing respiratory treatments, airway management, and critical care ventilation
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to interpret physician orders and adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy services for patients of all acuity levels
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation as prescribed
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory management, treatments, and equipment use
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and sanitized
