Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Irons, Michigan

This contract opportunity calls for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist who thrives in both independent and collaborative settings, ensuring high-quality respiratory therapy services during night shifts.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Wednesday–Tuesday stretch
• Alternating weeks: 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts may be needed

Qualifications:

• Active RRT license in the state of Michigan
• Expert proficiency in all facets of respiratory therapy, including assessments, interventions, and documentation
• Ability to perform duties independently without direct supervision
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients according to physician directives
• Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress and response to therapy
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen delivery equipment, and assorted respiratory devices
• Respond swiftly to emergency codes and perform timely interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, self-care, and equipment use
• Uphold rigorous safety and infection control standards throughout the facility
