Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Jackson, Michigan

Deliver critical, hands-on care as a skilled Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about patient care in both Intensive Care and General Practice Units. Work under the direction of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, providing life-support therapies and utilizing advanced techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• 1845-0715 shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Current, active licensure and certification
• Valid BLS certification
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple clinical assignments and adapt to different units

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and monitor a full range of respiratory therapies and life-support measures
• Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Maintain up-to-date clinical expertise for assignments across various healthcare units
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care in the medical record
• Communicate efficiently with patients, physicians, and team members regarding ongoing care needs
• Supervise, direct, and support respiratory therapists, externs, or students as required
• Complete all required billing information with accuracy and timeliness
