Deliver expert care as a Respiratory Therapist, providing vital life-support and therapeutic interventions to patients in both Intensive Care and General Practice Units. In this contract position, you’ll support a high-standard of respiratory therapy through the application of clinical skills and compassionate care, with responsibilities extending across multiple business units as assigned. Effective communication with patients, colleagues, and physicians is essential to uphold and coordinate high-quality patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1845 – 0715 (overnight)
- Every other weekend
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Duration:
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with active certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant respiratory therapy experience
- Current state licensure as required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong problem-solving and assessment abilities
- Ability to supervise, guide, and delegate tasks to team members, including orienting and supporting students or externs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver life-support, resuscitation, and administration of medical gases
- Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostics and therapeutic procedures
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care and relevant billing details
- Maintain clinical expertise and flexibility for assignments across different units
- Effectively communicate needs and changes in patient status with healthcare team
- Supervise and provide direction to respiratory therapy staff, students, and externs

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
