Seeking a skilled professional to provide respiratory therapy services within a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders and respiratory diseases.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Valid licensure to practice as a respiratory therapist
- Strong clinical assessment skills and familiarity with respiratory therapy equipment and protocols
- Experience in acute or inpatient care preferred, though new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to follow physician orders and adapt to changing patient needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory complications or disorders
- Administer oxygen, medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed
- Perform diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care, equipment use, and wellness practices
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and document interventions according to facility policies
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide advanced airway management when required
