Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Jefferson, Georgia

Seeking a skilled professional to provide respiratory therapy services within a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders and respiratory diseases.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Valid licensure to practice as a respiratory therapist
• Strong clinical assessment skills and familiarity with respiratory therapy equipment and protocols
• Experience in acute or inpatient care preferred, though new graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to follow physician orders and adapt to changing patient needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory complications or disorders
• Administer oxygen, medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed
• Perform diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care, equipment use, and wellness practices
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and document interventions according to facility policies
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide advanced airway management when required
