Qualifications:

  • Valid and current certification or licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Demonstrated experience in acute care or hospital settings
  • Comprehensive understanding of respiratory therapy modalities, equipment, and protocols
  • Strong assessment, communication, and record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and diverse patient populations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Administer a range of respiratory care procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management
  • Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapy, modifying care plans as needed
  • Provide ventilator management and support for critically ill patients
  • Accurately record and report patient progress and therapy results
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to meet safety and hygiene standards
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care routines, devices, and treatments as appropriate

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
