Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care within a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-focused therapy, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize outcomes for individuals with breathing or cardiopulmonary conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Active credential as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
  • Valid state license to practice respiratory care
  • Previous experience in an acute care or hospital environment preferred
  • Proficiency in operating ventilators, oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and airway management tools
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Strong communication and patient assessment skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients with respiratory disorders, documenting clinical progress and responding to changes in patient status
  • Administer and manage therapeutic modalities such as oxygen, humidity, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis as indicated
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and revise care plans
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments, equipment use, and health maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to infection control policies and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate patient records and equipment logs
