Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Lakewood, Ohio

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active credentials (BLS certification required; ACLS preferred)
• Experience in acute care or hospital environments highly desired
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care plans for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators and oxygen delivery devices
• Administer prescribed therapy including aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and other modalities
• Conduct arterial blood draws and interpret results to inform care decisions
• Accurately document all interventions and communicate critical information to the care team
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and disease management
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
