Key Qualifications:

• Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering a variety of respiratory therapies and interventions
• Strong understanding of ventilator management, oxygen delivery systems, and airway care
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with a variety of respiratory conditions using evidence-based protocols
• Administer respiratory therapy interventions, including aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and pulmonary function testing
• Manage ventilators and initiate emergency respiratory procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and therapeutic interventions accurately and promptly within the medical record system
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care strategies, equipment use, and lifestyle modifications for better outcomes
