Step into a meaningful role supporting patients as a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment. Your expertise will directly contribute to high-quality care, working alongside a dedicated clinical team in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts weekly
  • Day shift: 7:00am–7:30pm
  • Specific workdays will be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

  • Active, current Connecticut Respiratory Therapist license required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and respiratory care skills
  • Dedicated team player with excellent communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients of varying acuity
  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care interventions tailored to patient needs
  • Operate and monitor ventilators, respiratory equipment, and related technology
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff on care planning and patient education
  • Document care accurately and promptly in accordance with facility protocols
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide effective airway management
