A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Respiratory Therapist with strong clinical capabilities and self-sufficiency skills. This temporary role is designed for a Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed in Michigan, who is ready to make a difference within a dynamic hospital environment over a 13-week assignment.
Schedule:
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Rotation: Wednesday – Tuesday stretch
- Alternating weekly hours: 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as necessary
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of Michigan
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Proficiency in all aspects of Respiratory Therapy, including advanced modalities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage high-acuity scenarios
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients of varying acuity across the hospital
- Monitor, evaluate, and adjust ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and other modalities
- Respond rapidly and efficiently to emergency situations
- Accurately document patient care and participate in interdisciplinary care planning
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot respiratory devices, and ensure therapeutic protocols are followed

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
