Deliver patient-focused care as a skilled Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic clinical environment. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Valid respiratory care license
- Solid knowledge of respiratory care modalities and protocols
- Experience with ventilator management, airway care, and emergency respiratory support
- Proficient in performing arterial blood gas sampling/analysis
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced clinical settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapy procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, and mechanical ventilation
- Monitor patient responses, document progress, and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust care plans
- Conduct patient assessments and initiate emergency procedures as needed
- Educate patients and families about therapy, equipment, and discharge care
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory care equipment per safety standards
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
