Registered Respiratory Therapist in Marietta, GA

Deliver patient-focused care as a skilled Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic clinical environment. Qualifications & Experience:

• Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Valid respiratory care license
• Solid knowledge of respiratory care modalities and protocols
• Experience with ventilator management, airway care, and emergency respiratory support
• Proficient in performing arterial blood gas sampling/analysis
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced clinical settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed respiratory therapy procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, and mechanical ventilation
• Monitor patient responses, document progress, and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust care plans
• Conduct patient assessments and initiate emergency procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families about therapy, equipment, and discharge care
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory care equipment per safety standards
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
