Schedule:

  • 8 hour day shifts

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s of Science degree in Respiratory Care (required)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Therapy (required)
  • Current Respiratory Care Professional license in the State of Georgia (required)
  • At least three years’ experience in a long-term care setting is strongly preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Computer proficiency, including applications such as Word and Excel
  • Well-developed critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physician-ordered respiratory and critical care for patients in various care settings
  • Assess and monitor respiratory therapy plans, making adjustments as needed for optimal outcomes
  • Operate and maintain a range of respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
  • Document assessments, interventions, and responses according to facility protocols
