Schedule:
- 8 hour day shifts
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s of Science degree in Respiratory Care (required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Therapy (required)
- Current Respiratory Care Professional license in the State of Georgia (required)
- At least three years’ experience in a long-term care setting is strongly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Computer proficiency, including applications such as Word and Excel
- Well-developed critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physician-ordered respiratory and critical care for patients in various care settings
- Assess and monitor respiratory therapy plans, making adjustments as needed for optimal outcomes
- Operate and maintain a range of respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses according to facility protocols
