Qualifications:

  • Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Proven experience with respiratory therapy procedures, including mechanical ventilation, aerosol therapy, and pulmonary function testing
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing respiratory care equipment and electronic health records systems
  • Collaborative approach with medical staff, patients, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for acute and chronic patients according to established protocols
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and medication
  • Monitor patient responses, adjust ventilator settings, and calibrate equipment as needed
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory health, therapy techniques, and home care
  • Perform diagnostic procedures and collaborate with physicians on care planning
  • Maintain precise and timely clinical records
  • Participate in ongoing quality assurance and staff development initiatives

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
