Take on an essential position providing advanced respiratory care with a dedicated team serving a variety of adult and NICU patients. This contract opportunity offers exposure to progressive care, cutting-edge technology, and a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes.
Schedule & Shift:
- 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week (19:00 - 07:00)
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Expectation to work 75% of holidays
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Respiratory Therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Active NC Respiratory Care licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (Resource Team requirements)
- Proficiency in critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies
- EMR proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Must be able to float to Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division facilities, and freestanding EDs within the region as needed
- First-time travelers considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care to diverse patient populations (primarily adult and NICU; no pediatric)
- Work with state-of-the-art medical equipment, including Servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, and more
- Support acute interventions in trauma, stroke, and chest pain-certified centers
- Adhere to facility standards, ensuring safety, compassion, and best-practice therapies
- Participate in regional float pool, with travel time during shift compensated
