Key Qualifications:

• Recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement care for patients with respiratory disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures as ordered by physicians
• Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as respiratory distress or cardiopulmonary arrests
• Administer medications, aerosols, and other therapeutic interventions
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care techniques and disease management
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and uphold compliance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
