Respiratory Therapist | Matthews, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Expect to work approximately 75% of holidays

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
• Active North Carolina licensure required
• Current certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP
• At least 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy, including work with ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV)
• Previous work in ED, PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric PCU, and general medical floors preferred
• Willingness to care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients as needed
• Open to first-time travelers with appropriate background

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy across all patient care areas within the facility
• Utilize EPIC EMR and advanced respiratory equipment, including specialty ventilators
• Collaborate with a dedicated respiratory leadership team and multi-disciplinary staff
• Follow departmental protocols; no floating to external facilities
• Complete required orientation, including new employee onboarding and two days within the department

$2,025 - $2,203/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
