Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Mentor, OH

In this contract opportunity lasting 13 weeks, your skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist will directly impact the well-being of patients through hands-on, evidence-based care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Three shifts per week
• On-call duty for four nights during a six-week rotation to cover additional needs at specified sites

Desired Qualifications:

• Current credentialing as a Respiratory Therapist, with Registered Respiratory Therapist status
• Valid Ohio Respiratory Therapy License (OH License)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Recent experience in an acute healthcare setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full spectrum of respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients in accordance with physician orders and protocols
• Monitor patient responses, evaluate therapy effectiveness, and initiate appropriate adjustments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans
• Perform ventilator management, airway care, and emergency respiratory interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
