Deliver exceptional care as a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based respiratory therapy. Your expertise will be vital in managing acute and chronic respiratory conditions across diverse patient populations.
Schedule:
- 3 shifts per week, 12-hour nights (6:00 pm – 6:30 am)
- Includes on-call responsibility for 4 nights during each six-week rotation to provide coverage as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active BLS certification required
- Current Ohio state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Previous acute care or hospital experience strongly preferred
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced situations and collaborate with team members
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for patients requiring respiratory support
- Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and nebulizers
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing airway management and other life-saving interventions
- Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications as prescribed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Document all care activities accurately and promptly in patient records
- Support patient and family education regarding treatment plans and respiratory care

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
