This role calls for a skilled Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist who excels in dynamic and collaborative clinical settings. With a contract duration of 13 weeks, you will have an opportunity to make a real difference in patient outcomes by utilizing your training and specialized knowledge.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts (6:00 pm – 6:30 am)
  • On-call: Four nights on a six-week rotation to provide additional coverage

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential strongly preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Demonstrated experience in acute care or hospital environments
  • Flexibility to participate in on-call schedules as specified

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy services, including assessment, treatment, and management of patients with respiratory disorders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in developing individualized care plans
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures such as ventilator management, aerosol therapy, airway clearance techniques, and arterial blood gas analysis
  • Accurately document patient progress and therapy effectiveness in accordance with facility protocols
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and code calls
  • Participate in on-call duties to provide coverage when needed
