Schedule:
- 7:00pm to 7:30am
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Previous experience in an acute care or hospital environment highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory therapy services for patients of diverse ages and acuity levels
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following prescribed protocols and safety standards
- Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support techniques as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care plans and correct equipment usage
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function at all times
