Exciting opportunity for motivated Respiratory Therapists eager to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract assignment requires professionals dedicated to supporting patients’ respiratory health through skillful assessment and intervention.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend shifts required

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking in urgent care and routine situations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy care to patients of varying age groups
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol and medication treatments, chest physiotherapy, ventilator support, and related therapies
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered by medical staff
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to respiratory emergencies
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with established protocols
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff for integrated patient care planning
