Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a dynamic regional healthcare team. This contract opportunity provides a valuable experience across multiple settings, offering both professional growth and a collaborative work environment.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week)
  • Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Travelers will work approximately 75% of major holidays
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required within the region (including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division facilities)
  • Travelers are compensated for any time spent traveling mid-shift between sites

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Respiratory Therapy
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Active North Carolina license
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirements)
  • Critical care, NICU, CVICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies experience preferred
  • Ability to work with diverse adult and NICU patient populations
  • Comfortable using EPIC and specialized respiratory equipment (e.g., Servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve)
  • Willingness to float to multiple facilities
  • Must reside 50+ miles from designated home unit

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapies to adult and NICU patients
  • Assess and respond to respiratory patient needs in critical and progressive care environments
  • Collaborate closely with department leadership and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure seamless transitions when floating between sites
