In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting patients requiring respiratory therapy interventions and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Active and unrestricted applicable certification or license
  • Demonstrated experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate patient care approach
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic respiratory tests
  • Ability to handle emergency and routine respiratory care situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer treatments, therapies, and medications as prescribed by medical staff
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to respiratory interventions
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
  • Document all treatments, assessments, and patient progress accurately in the medical record
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and proper use of equipment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
