Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current state license in good standing
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Proven experience working with ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, and other respiratory equipment
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as ordered by clinicians
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed
- Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring patient safety and care quality
- Document patient status, therapy delivered, and progress in electronic medical records
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and self-care strategies
- Participate in emergency care including airway management and code response

$2,154 - $2,278/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
