Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state license in good standing
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Proven experience working with ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, and other respiratory equipment
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as ordered by clinicians
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring patient safety and care quality
• Document patient status, therapy delivered, and progress in electronic medical records
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and self-care strategies
• Participate in emergency care including airway management and code response
