Seeking skilled professionals to fill immediate openings for Registered Respiratory Therapists on the night shift in both NICU and Adult departments. This opportunity involves working as part of a dedicated respiratory care team providing critical patient support in a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule & Shifts

  • 3x12-hour shifts per week
  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Rotating every other weekend shifts required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials are mandatory
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all RRTs); NRP (required for NICU RRT positions)
  • At least two years of recent experience in respiratory therapy, with a focus on critical care settings
  • Recent labor and delivery experience required for NICU RRT positions
  • Willingness to be on-call (NICU RRTs: two calls per six-week period)
  • NICU therapists may also be assigned to adult cases based on facility needs
  • Candidates must be flexible and able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to neonatal and/or adult patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, oxygen administration, ventilator management, and airway care
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations in both NICU and adult care units
  • Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses
  • Provide expertise and support for family education regarding respiratory interventions
