Respiratory Therapist | Nampa, Idaho

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current, active respiratory therapy license (or eligibility)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Prior experience in acute or hospital-based respiratory care is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments according to physician orders and best practices
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and other respiratory care equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct patient and family education regarding respiratory therapies, equipment use, and disease management
• Document care provided and patient responses accurately in medical records
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safety and functionality
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory standards

$1,832 - $2,004/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
